Utah DWR’s stocking report lists 43 plants in Davis, Weber and Morgan counties from Sept. 21 to Oct. 27, 2026. These are the newest 15. Water names appear as DWR lists them.

DWR Northern Region fall reports, in our own words. DWR hasn’t posted a star rating for these waters, so we don’t show one. Tap a report for the full text. Willard Bay and Mantua are in Box Elder County, and Echo is in Summit, so they aren’t listed here.
Pineview is drawn way down for Ogden City’s pipeline replacement. Fish are packed into the deep water that’s left: the old river channel, steep banks and the Narrows riprap.
Causey has rainbow, brown, lake and cutthroat trout plus kokanee. DWR also planted 8,879 lake trout here on Oct. 18 (see the stocking table above).
As the water cools, trout come shallow while smallmouth and wiper go deeper. For wiper, DWR suggests a worm on the bottom in the East Arm or between Taylor Hollow and the inlet.
Lost Creek, a Blue Ribbon fishery, has rainbow, cutthroat and tiger trout, splake and kokanee.
DWR says fish numbers in the river are very good. DWR suggests caddis, stimulators, Royal Wulffs and hoppers, with a nymph dropper.
DWR’s latest Ogden River report is its spring outlook. It lists browns, rainbows and Bonneville cutthroat. No fall update has been posted.
Andy Adams, Bountiful Lake, Farmington Pond, Holmes Creek, Jensen Nature Park, Kaysville Ponds and Meadow Creek all have DWR fall outlooks. Fall trout stocking runs from early September to mid-October, and DWR calls catch rates good to great. Try a nightcrawler under a bobber or dough bait on the bottom.
