Flood Watch — late Saturday night through Sunday evening (Nov 1)
Issued: Fri Oct 30, 8:05 AM MDT by NWS Salt Lake City · In effect: 5:00 AM through 11:00 PM MST, Sun Nov 1 (NWS: “From late Saturday night through Sunday evening”). Clocks fall back to MST early Sunday.
What NWS says: “Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.” Widespread moderate to at times heavy precipitation is expected beginning late Saturday night and continuing through Sunday. Moist ground from recent heavy rains means efficient runoff — washes, streams and rivers may run fast and high, flood-prone spots may be inundated, and backcountry roads will likely become impassable.
